Al-Jurn (Arabic: الجورن) is a village in western central Yemen. It is located in the San‘a’ Governorate.
A large and ancient hilltop village settlement around 14 miles from the Yemeni capital Sana'a city, Jurn shares the same distinctive type of architecture as the nearby city. Jurn takes its name from the Yemeni for "communal threshing floor" and "mortar and pestle".
A detailed English-language social history of the area was published by Brill in 2005, titled Jews and Muslims in lower Yemen: a study in protection and restraint, 1918-1949.
Commercial oil wells were reportedly found near al-Jurn in the early 1970s.
