Aftab Iqbal (Urdu: آفتاب اقبالĀftāb Iqbāl) is a journalist and television anchor who is from Okara, Pakistan who is the host of Khabardaar on Express News[3] and the former host of the political-humour talk show Khabarnaak on GEO News.Aftab Iqbal currently Anchor at the Khabardaar Show Express News Previously, he hosted the show Hasb-e-Haal on Dunya News before leaving the Geo News channel Previous Show Khabarnaak With Some of Personal Issues.[4] Aftab Iqbal First Coulum Issue in 1985 . Then he works in English media for one year in 1986 Aftab is the son of the Urdu poet Zafar Iqbal.In his Interview to a Channel Geo he Said" I Think That. I never take intrest In Urdu poetry And Urdu Writer If i am not the Son Of Famouse Poet "Zafar Iqbal" . From 1994-95, Iqbal served as Media Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab. He frequently writes a column in The News International.[2] He also wrote an article for Newsweek Pakistan.[5]

As a columnist, Iqbal has written for a number of publications, including the Urdu language Nawa-i-Waqt he completed his early study from Convent of Jesus and Marry at Lahore. He graduated with Masters from the Government College University in Lahore in 1985 and studied media at the San Jose State University in California in 1986. Aftab belongs to Arain Tribe[2]
