Aeriél Christine Miranda[1] (born April 3, 1992) is an American actress. She is best known for her recurring role as Shana Fring on the ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars (2013–14).[2] She was first introduced as Shana on the Pretty Little Liars web series spin-off Pretty Dirty Secrets, prior to appearing on Pretty Little Liars.[3] Miranda also had a recurring role as Lana on the ABC Family series The Nine Lives of Chloe King in 2011.

Life and career

Miranda was born and raised in Dallas, Texas having seasonally lived in Boston, Massachusetts and New Orleans, Louisiana. She is of West African, Portuguese, French, German and Cape Verdean ancestry.[1]

Prior to working as an actress, Miranda competed in the fifth season of the reality competition series Endurance, followed by competing in a family edition of Fear Factor.
