The Aelfgar Rugeley College, also known as The Aelfgar Centre, is the sixth form college of two medium-sized high schools. The centre offers a variety of A-Level and vocational courses, as well as several adult education programmes scheduled between 8am and 10am on weekdays. The Centre is centrally located within the town and facilities include four computer suites, a gymnasium, a computational arts lab, a library and free parking for students, teachers and mobility scooters.

The Centre was bought by the Creative Education Trust and reopened as Rugeley Sixth Form Academy at the start of the 2011 academic year.
