Adrianna Luna (born May 12, 1984)[1] is the stage name of an American pornographic actress, model, and men's club feature dancer. Luna is the Penthouse Pet of the Month for November 2012.

Early life

Luna was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.[2][3] She is of Mexican and Filipino descent.[4][5] She is fluent in Spanish.[6] Although she does not speak Tagalog, she can understand a lot of it.[5]

Luna attended Sonoma State University before transferring to California State University, Northridge, where she graduated from with a bachelor's degree in public relations.[3] She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.[2][4] She worked as an executive assistant at a mainstream production-financing company for approximately three years before doing porn.[3][7]

Career

Luna was introduced to the adult film industry by a friend who worked in it as a make-up artist.[8] Her career began in March 2011.[2][3][7] She claims to have viewed hardcore pornography for the first time the night before filming her first scene and that up until then, she had only seen softcore pornography.[8] Her first scene was with Danny Mountain in Them's Some Sexy Titties for New Sensations.[8]

When not performing in video production, Luna is a feature dancer on the men's club circuit.[9] Her debut performance was at the Crazy Horse gentlemen's club in San Francisco.[10]

Appearances

Shortly after starting in the adult industry, In October 2011 Luna was interviewed by a childhood friend who happened to work for the online magazine The Rumpus.[11] Writer Zoe Ruiz asked Luna what the industry was like and about her impressions of working in porn. Luna commented that it was far more "professional" and organized than she had expected it to be.[11]

In June 2012, she was featured in the annual "Fresh Faces" issue of AVN magazine that highlights the industry's up and coming starlets.[12] Luna is also the Penthouse Pet of the Month for November 2012.[13] She has also appeared on the cable television comedy series the Naughty Show.[14]

Luna was also on hand at the dedication of a memorial alter for Penthouse publisher Bob Guccione during the 14th annual Day of the Dead festival at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on November 2, 2012 in Los Angeles, CA.[15]

In June 2013, Luna was featured in the Australian men's magazine People. She was given praise for her performance in Wicked's Tuff Love video release.[16]

Personal life

Luna began practicing Muay Thai when she was in college.[5] In August 2011, she began training in CrossFit.[3][17] According to her website, she is training in mixed martial arts but has yet to compete.[18] Her favorite MMA fighters are Jon Jones and Ronda Rousey.[17][19]
