Bematistes macarista is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia.[2] The habitat consists of dense forests.
Both sexes of this dimorphic species are mimicked by the parallel sexes of Pseudacraea eurytus.
