Abdoul Rachid Achille Rouga (born 20 June 1987 in Parakou) is a Beninese international footballer who plays for West Bromwich Albion FC.

Career

The Young French-based midfielder was on the books of Stade Rennais F.C., but has never played a senior match. He left in Summer 2008 Rennes and joined to F.C. Flers.[1] He left F.C. Flers after one year and he moved to the Netherlands who signed on 1 October 2009 for SC. Unitas'30 Etten-Leur.[2] He left in summer 2010 his club SC. Unitas'30 Etten-Leur of the Dutch First Class C from the KNVB district Zuid 1 and returned to Benin, where he signed with Avrankou Omnisport FC. Im aummer 2011 left Benin and returned to Europe, who signed now with English-based West Bromwich Albion.[3] Rouga played none game for Basingstoke and left the club in December 2011 to Ryman League Division One North side Waltham Forest F.C..[4] After the end of the season 2012 was released by Waltham Forest and was in December 2012 signed by the Non-League club UK Football Finder Football Club of the Spartan South Midlands League.[5]

International career

He earned his first cap with his national squad, Benin during the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, where he was a last minute inclusion to the roster.[6] His selection was a shock to his French club who did not even know he had gone on pre-tournament tour to Brazil, he holds five caps his first game was on 19 November 2008 against Egypt.[7]
