Acerosodontosaurus is a younginiform diapsid that lived during the Upper Permian of Madagascar. It is known from a single skeleton including a crushed skull and part of the body and limbs from an immature specimen. In life, the animal measured about 60–70 cm in length and had a lizard-like appearance. The fossil has been discovered in marine deposits indicating that the animal might have been aquatic.
