Legros de Rumigny
Legros de Rumigny was the hairdresser for the French court of the 18th century including Madame de Pompadour. In 1763 he wrote L'Art de la coeffure des dames françaises and in 1767 he established the Académie pour la coëffures des Dames which helped establish hairdressing as a profession.[1][2][3]
