Abibus of Edessa
Abibus of Edessa (died 322) was a Christian martyr at Edessa, Mesopotamia under Emperor Licinius in 322. He was burned at the stake. His feast day is November 15 in the Roman Catholic Church, with Guria and Shamona. He also has an individual feast in the old Syrian martyrology on September 2. With Guria and Shamona, he is venerated as one of the "avengers of unfulfilled contracts".
