Abbato is a former settlement in Merced County, California.^[1] It was located on the Southern Pacific Railroad 1.25 miles (2 km) east-southeast of Los Banos,^[2] at an elevation of 118 feet (36 m).^[1] Abbato still appeared on USGS maps as of 1921.^[1]
