Jeremy Bleich (born June 18, 1987) is a left-handed professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Bleich, who is Jewish (a member of Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation), attended Isidore Newman School in New Orleans and then Stanford University.[1] As a pitcher at Isidore Newman, he was profiled by author Michael Lewis in his short book Coach: Lessons on the Game of Life, published in 2005. He was selected in the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft (44th overall) by the New York Yankees out of Stanford.[2] Baseball America named him the Yankees' ninth best prospect for 2010.[3] Bleich missed part of the 2010 season and all of the 2011 season following surgery on his labrum in his throwing shoulder.[4] He was promoted to the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders for the first time in 2014.[5]

Bleich signed a minor league deal with the Pittsburgh Pirates on November 18, 2014.[6] In February 2016, it was reported Bleich had signed a minor league contract with the Philadelphia Phillies.[7]

Aaron Joshua Brown (born June 20, 1992) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Brown was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 17th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth, California. He did not sign with the Pirates and played college baseball at Pepperdine University, where he was both a outfielder and pitcher.[8] After his sophomore season, Brown was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 30th round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He again did not sign and returned to Pepperdine. He was then drafted a third time, this time by the Philadelphia Phillies in the third round of the 2014 Draft.[9]

Brown signed with the Phillies and made his professional debut with the Williamsport Crosscutters.[10] He was later promoted to the Lakewood BlueClaws where he ended the season.[11]

Jimmy Gerard Cordero (born October 19, 1991) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Cordero signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent in January 2012. The Blue Jays traded Cordero along with Alberto Tirado to the Philadelphia Phillies for Ben Revere on July 31, 2015.[12] The Phillies added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.[13]

Tyler Goeddel (born October 20, 1992) is an American professional baseball outfielder and third baseman in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Goeddel was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the first round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of St. Francis High School in Mountain View, California.[14][15] He signed with the Rays and made his professional debut in 2012 with the Bowling Green Hot Rods and also spent 2013 with them. After the season he played for the Brisbane Bandits of the Australian Baseball League.[16] Goeddel played 2014 with the Charlotte Stone Crabs and started 2015 with the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits.

Goeddel was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies with the first pick of the 2015 Rule 5 Draft.[17]

Rhys Dean Hoskins (born March 17, 1993) is an American professional baseball first baseman in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Hoskins played college baseball at California State University, Sacramento. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the fifth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.[18] He made his professional debut with the Williamsport Crosscutters. He started 2015 with the Lakewood BlueClaws and was later promoted to the Clearwater Threshers.[19][20]

Kilome signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in 2013.[21] He made his professional debut in 2014 with the Gulf Coast Phillies. He pitched 2015 with the Williamsport Crosscutters.[22][23]

Matt Michael Imhof (born October 26, 1993) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Imhof played college baseball at California Polytechnic State University for the Cal Poly Mustangs from 2012 to 2014.[24] He was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the second round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.[25][26] He signed with the Phillies and made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Phillies. After one start he was promoted to the Williamsport Crosscutters. He was later promoted to the Lakewood BlueClaws where he finished the season.[27][28] He finished the season with a 2.98 earned run average (ERA) in 11 starts.

Andrew Knapp (born November 9, 1991) is an American professional baseball catcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Knapp was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 41st round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft out of Granite Bay High School in Granite Bay, California. He did not sign with the Athletics and attended the University of California, Berkeley to play college baseball. Knapp was then drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the second round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He signed with the Phillies and made his professional debut with the Williamsport Crosscutters. He spent 2014 with the Lakewood BlueClaws and Clearwater Threshers.[29] Knapp started 2015 with Clearwater and was promoted to the Double-A Reading Fightin Phils during the season.[30][31]

Cameron Perkins (born September 27, 1990) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Perkins was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 43rd round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft out of Southport High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He did not sign and played college baseball at Purdue University from 2010 to 2012.

Perkins was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the sixth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.[32] He signed with the Phillies and made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Phillies and also played for the Williamsport Crosscutters. Perkins played for the Clearwater Threshers in 2013. He started 2014 with the Double-A Reading Fightin Phils and was promoted to the Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs in June.[33][34][35]

Nicholas John Carlo Pivetta (born February 14, 1993) is a Canadian professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Pivetta was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the fourth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft out of New Mexico Junior College.[36] He signed with the Nationals and made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Nationals. He ended the season with the Auburn Doubledays. Pivetta spent 2014 with the Hagerstown Suns.[37][38]

On July 28, 2015, the Nationals traded Pivetta to the Philadelphia Phillies for Jonathan Papelbon.[39]

Edubray Eduar Ramos (born December 19, 1992) is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Ramos signed with the St. Louis Cardinals as an international free agent in May 2010. In November 2012, he signed with the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.[40]

Randolph attended Griffin High School in Griffin, Georgia.[41] The Philadelphia Phillies selected Randolph with the 10th pick in the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft.[42] Randolph signed with the Phillies, receiving a $3,231,300 signing bonus.[43]

John Minoru Richy (born July 28, 1992) is a professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Richy was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 3rd round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of the University of Nevada–Las Vegas. He began his professional career that year with the rookie class Ogden Raptors and was promoted to the class-A Great Lakes Loons a few months later. He had a 3.74 ERA combined in 12 games for the two teams. In 2015, he began the season with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the Advanced-Class-A California League where he was 10–5 with a 4.20 ERA in 22 games (18 starts).

On August 19, 2015, he was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies (along with Darnell Sweeney) in exchange for Chase Utley.[44]

Joely Rodríguez (born November 14, 1991) is a professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies.[45]

Rodríguez signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates for a $55,000 signing bonus in March 2009.[46] He was added to the team's 40-man roster on November 20, 2013.[47]

On December 10, 2014, the Pirates traded Rodríguez to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for Antonio Bastardo.[48]

Brock Stassi [stass'ee] (Born August 7, 1989) is an American professional baseball first baseman in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.[49]

The Phillies selected Stassi in the 33rd round of the 2011 MLB Draft out of University of Nevada, Reno in the state of Nevada. Stassi previously had been drafted by the Cleveland Indians in 2010, but decided to stay at school. He hit a .360 average with 19 doubles, driving in 34 runs and scoring 29 times in 55 games for the Nevada Wolf Pack, earning First Team All-Western Athletic Conference honors during his senior season at the University of Nevada.[49]

Stassi debuted with the Williamsport Crosscutters in 2011, playing for them in parts of two seasons before joining the Lakewood BlueClaws (2012), Clearwater Threshers (2012–2013) and Reading Fightin Phils (2014–2015).[49]

His breakout season came with the Fightin Phils in 2015, when he posted a .300/.394/.470 slash line with 15 home runs and 90 RBI in 133 games, helping lead Reading to first place in the Eastern League Division standings while earning an All-Star berth.[49] Besides, Stassi led the league in RBI and doubles (32), ending second in total bases (225) and walks (77), third in on OBP and runs scored (76), fifth in hits (140), and sixth in home runs.[50]

In addition to his offensive contributions, Stassi led all Eastern League first baseman with a .995 fielding percentage, making just five errors in 112 games. At the end of the season, he was selected as the winner of the 2015 Eastern League Most Valuable Player Award.[49]

On the personal side, Stassi comes from a baseball family, as his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather played as catchers in the Minor Leagues, while his younger brother, Brock Stassi, is a catcher who plays in the Phillies organization. Furthermore, Brock and Max Stassi held an annual charity event that began in 2009 in their hometown of Yuba City, California, as the money collected goes to 12 food banks within a 50-mile radius of Yuba City, and Hands of Hope, a charity that offers support to homeless children and their families. The premise of the charity is simple. The brothers staged a home run derby, seeing how many they can launch over 30 minutes at the Yuba City High School field. Since 2014, the event was expanded to include a home run derby with one player from each of eight local high schools, taking donations based on the number of homers hit, as well as accepting flat-rate donations.[51]

Daniel Stumpf (born January 4, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization

Stumpf played college baseball at San Jacinto College. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 9th round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.[52] He was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 2015 Rule 5 Draft.[53]

Alberto Tirado (born December 10, 1994) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Tirado signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent in July 2011 for $300,000.[54] He began his career in 2012 with the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays, where he made 11 starts and posted a 1–2 record with an earned run average of 2.68 in 37 innings pitched.[55] Tirado would finish the 2012 season with the Bluefield Blue Jays, earning a 2–0 record and 2.45 ERA in 3 starts.[55] In 2013, he would make 12 appearances for Bluefield, 8 of which were starts, and posted a 3–0 record with an impressive 1.68 ERA over 4813 innings.[55] Prior to the 2014 season, Baseball Prospectus rated Tirado as the 76th best prospect in baseball.[56]

Tirado began the 2014 season with the Low-A Vancouver Canadians and made 17 appearances (3 starts). He was then promoted to the Class-A Lansing Lugnuts and made another 13 appearances, 7 of which were starts. In total, Tirado posted a 2–2 record with a 5.00 ERA and 76 strikeouts over 7523 innings.[55] On July 31, 2015, Tirado was traded to the Philadelphia Philles, with Jimmy Cordero, for Ben Revere.[57]

Carlos Daniel Lugo Tocci (born August 23, 1995) is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Tocci signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in August 2011.[58] He made his professional debut in 2012 with the Gulf Coast Phillies.[59] He spent 2013 and 2014 with the Lakewood BlueClaws.[60][61] He hit his professional home run in July 2014.

Jesmuel Jose Valentín (born May 12, 1994) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball second baseman and shortstop in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Valentín in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft (51st overall) out of the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy.[62] The Dodgers assigned him to the Arizona League Dodgers to begin his professional career, where he hit .211 in 43 games in 2012. He split 2013 between the Great Lakes Loons of the Midwest League and the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League and hit .264 in 95 games. He began 2014 with Great Lakes, where he hit .282 in 107 games.[63]

The Dodgers traded Valentín to the Phillies on August 16, 2014, as a player to be named later (along with Victor Arano) in a deal that sent Roberto Hernández to the Dodgers.[63]

On April 11, 2015, he was placed on the restricted list and suspended indefinitely following his arrest for a domestic violence incident.[64]

His father, José Valentín, played in Major League Baseball.

Nick Williams

Billy Nicholas Williams (born September 8, 1993) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.[65]

Williams was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the second round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft out of Ball High School in Galveston, Texas.[66] He was committed to Texas A&M University, but signed with the Rangers.[67] He made his professional debut with the Arizona League Rangers, hitting .313/.375/.448 with two home runs in 201 at-bats over 48 games. He played the 2013 season with the Hickory Crawdads.[68] He played in 95 games during the season, hitting .293/.337/.543 with 17 home runs over 376 at-bats.

Prior to the 2014 season, Williams was ranked by Baseball America as the Rangers fourth best prospect and the 97th best overall in baseball.[69][70]

On July 31, 2015, Williams was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies along with Matt Harrison, Jorge Alfaro, Jake Thompson, Alec Asher, and Jerad Eickhoff in exchange for Cole Hamels and Jake Diekman.[71][72]

Tom Windle (born March 10, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Windle attended Osseo Senior High School in Osseo, Minnesota.[73] After his senior season, Windle was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 28th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft.[74] He did not sign and played college baseball at the University of Minnesota for the Gophers from 2011 to 2013. In three years, he appeared in 51 games with 20 starts and had a 2.26 earned run average (ERA).

Windle was then drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft.[75][76] He signed with the Dodgers and made his professional debut with the Great Lakes Loons.[77] In 2014, he pitched for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.

On December 19, 2014, Windle and Zach Eflin were traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for Jimmy Rollins.[78]
