Aardklop is an annual South African arts festival held since 1998[1] in the town of Potchefstroom in the North-West province of South Africa. The cultural festival incorporates predominantly Afrikaans theatre, dance, music, cabaret and visual arts, and is held in a variety of venues in and around the town. A large craft market and open-air performances also form part of the event, drawing crowds of more than 150,000 people every year.[2]
