ALLEN Career Institute is a coaching institute in India preparing students for engineering and medical entrance examinations. It was founded in 1989 in Kota, Rajasthan[1] by Rajesh Maheshwari. In March 2014, India Today listed ALLEN in its list of top 10 coaching institutes in India.[2] ALLEN started from Kota and has expanded to several cities with more than 80 centers in India.[3]

In August 2014, ALLEN entered the Limca Book of Records by becoming the largest coaching institute at a single location, having enrolled 66,504 students at Kota.[4]

ALLEN conducts an entrance test, ALLEN Scholarship cum Admission Test (ASAT), which is also used for providing scholarships to meritorius students.[5][6]

ALLEN is noted for promoting and conducting various cultural activities boosting moral values amongst students.[7][8]

Courses

ALLEN offers JEE preparation courses in all of its centers, as well as organizes workshops for BITSAT, KVPY and olympiads in addition to regular classes.[9] It also offers Pre-Medical coaching, separate modules are prepared for competitive exams and board exams as per their different needs.[10] It also offers pre-nurture programs for students in grades VI to X.[11]

In addition to classroom courses, ALLEN also offers distance learning programs.[12]

Branches and centers

ALLEN's main branch is in Kota, Rajasthan. It also has its centers in Mumbai, Indore, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Rajkot, Vadodara, Surat, Bhilwara, Ranchi and Bengalore.[13]
