ABI Technik, subtitled Zeitschrift für Automation, Bau und Technik im Archiv-, Bibliotheks- und Informationswesen (English: Journal of Automation, Library Construction and Technology for the Archive, Library and Information Sector), is a peer-reviewed academic journal covering all aspects of library science, including automation, archival administration, building construction, and information technology. It was established in 1981 and is published quarterly in German.

Since its inception until the end of 2010 the journal was published Verlag Neuer Merkur (Munich, Germany). It was acquired by De Gruyter on January 1, 2011.[1][2] The current editor-in-chief is Berndt Dugall (Goethe University Frankfurt).

The journal contains research articles and a news section including reports about construction projects, interior design trends, and reviews of new products and technologies. It also has articles on general library topics such as business development and processes.
