Transport in Zimbabwe

The government of Zimbabwe is the main provider of air, rail and road services; historically, there has been little participation of private investors in transport infrastructure.[1]

Railways

The railway operator is National Railways of Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwean roads are managed and maintenanced & operated by ZINARA (Zimbabwe National Road Authority)

Zimbabwe has the Automobile Association of Zimbabwe.

The public transport operator is the Zimbabwe United Passenger Company (ZUPCO).

Zimbabwe has an average road & highway network, once on par with the UK, Ireland & Europe, but it is now with some need of maintenance of various poor conditioned roads.
