A.K. High School and College is a secondary as well as higher-secondary school, located at Shaympur Thana, in Dhaka, Bangladesh.[1] The school was established in 1971 and was named after two brothers, Akkel Ali and Kubbot Ali. In 2009, the school was placed 7th in the Secondary School Certificate(SSC) exam on Dhaka Board. In 2010, the school placed 5th in Junior School Certificate examination or JSC. Every year a large number of students are getting admitted through entrance exam in this school.
Campus
The Institution has two campuses in two different locations. The Main(old) Branch & College campus is on the center of Dania, Dhaka-1236 and the New one is on South Dania. Main(old) branch has three five-storyed buildings whereas the other has one. The school area is furnished with good facilities for the students.
Academics
The School offers primary & secondary education. It also has HSC program(only for girls). Boys & Girls both can get their education from this institution, it's not Co-educational though. Two shifts are available. Girls attend to the Morning shift where Boys to the Day shift. But only girls are admitted to its college division.
