A.F.C. Uckfield Town is an English association football club based in Uckfield, established in 2014 by a merger of Uckfield Town and Afc Uckfield (Formerly Wealden). For the 2014–15 season, they are members of the Sussex County League Division Two.
History
Wealden were formed in 1988 and joined the Sussex County League Division Three and finished runners-up in 1999–2000, gaining promotion to Division Two. The club entered the FA Vase for the first time in 2006–07 and reached the First Round.[1] They were champions of Division Two in 2010–11 and gained promotion to Division One.[2] Afc Uckfield Town proudly came runners-up of Sussex County League Division 2 in 2014/15, in the first year of the merger. To add to a successful season, the reserves won the Eastbourne Charity Cup.
