93.5 FM Ohsweken, Ontario
93.5 is a new First Nations community radio station, which will operate on the frequency of 93.5 MHz (FM) in Ohsweken, Ontario. The new station, to be owned by Arrow Radio and serve the Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation, received approval from the CRTC on November 10, 2014. The station, which will be licensed as a Type B Native FM station, will broadcast with an average effective radiated power (ERP) of 42 watts (maximum ERP of 75 watts with an effective height of antenna above average terrain of 80 metres). The new station will produce 113 hours of programming each week, of which at least 9.5 hours must be in the Mohawk, Seneca, Cayuga, Tuscarora, Onondaga or Oneida language.[1]
