90.5 FM Windsor, Ontario
90.5 FM is a new radio station which will broadcast a Christian music format on the frequency of 90.5 MHz (FM) in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The station will be owned and operated by United Christian Broadcasters Canada (UCB). The station was approved to broadcast by the CRTC on December 5, 2014.
The new station will broadcast with an average effective radiated power of 1730 watts (directional antenna with an effective height of antenna above average terrain of 55.5 metres). The station will broadcast with a directional antenna aimed towards the east, to protect other nearby stations that will broadcast on 90.5 FM: WKAR-FM East Lansing, Michigan; WHVT Clyde, Ohio, and CKXM-FM Exeter, Ontario.[1] Under the terms of licensing, the station must commence broadcasting by December 5, 2016, unless an extension is requested.
