5th Street station is an at grade light rail station on the Los Angeles County Metro Metro Blue Line.[1] It has an island platform, and is located in the median of Long Beach Boulevard near 5th Street in the city of Long Beach, California. The station is located on a loop at the south end of the Blue Line route and only has Southbound service. 5th Street station was closed for about a month in September 2014 as Metro renovated the station and added new additional canopies.
