3DD Productions

3DD Productions is a UK-based television production company with international licensing done in-house by its sister company 3DD Entertainment, together forming the 3DD Group. 3DD Productions specialises in documentaries on stars of film and music as well as history and factual genres, and live music television. Key broadcaster partners include Sky Arts, Foxtel, UKTV, ESTV, AXS TV, Ovation and AMC/Sundance. Long running series include Discovering Film and Discovering Music, Stars of the Silver Screen, Movie Talk presented by Jason Solomons, Rock Legends, Pop Profiles, London Live, and entering 5th seasons or more, with other factual entertainment series such as Passion for Fashion -The Designers. Notable history series include Murder Maps, "Raiders of the Lost Art, Hitler – Germany’s Fatal Attraction, Anne Frank – A Tale of Two Sisters, The Vietnam War, and a new strand, Legacy, starting with Shakespeare, presented by John Nettles. 3DD Productions have a number of new history projects in development around key anniversaries, in 2015 these include the 80th anniversary of the Berlin Olympics, the events leading up to Pearl Harbor, the development of the Atom Bomb and the legacy of author H. G. Wells.

3DD Productions is independently owned and is part of the 3DD Group formed in 1994. The Group CEO is Dominic Saville, son of British film and television director Philip Saville. 3DD Entertainment is the group's international sales company that represents 3DD Productions.
