35th Rifle Division (Soviet Union)

The 35th Rifle Division was a division of the Red Army, active during the Second World War.

It was established in 1919.[1] Served in Far East Military District during World War II and part of the 5th Rifle Corps there in May 1945.

Briefly became 125th Motor Rifle Division (43rd Army Corps) while in Far East, 1957-59, before disbanding.[2]
