3317 Paris
3317 Paris (1984 KF) is a Jupiter Trojan asteroid discovered on May 26, 1984 by husband and wife team Carolyn and Eugene Shoemaker at Palomar. It was named not after the French capital, but for Paris, son of Priam of Troy.
Photometric observations of this asteroid during 1998 were used to build a light curve showing a rotation period of 7.082 ± 0.004 hours with a brightness variation of 0.10 ± 0.01 magnitude.[1]

- In Schlock Mercenary several characters are held hostage by the mob in some corporate offices located on 3317 Paris.[2]
