24 Caret Games is a video game developer based in Sherman Oaks, California, formed in 2008 by former members of High Impact Games .[1] At the Eleventh Annual Independent Games Festival, 24 Caret Games was honored with two nominations for their game Retro/Grade. The nominations were for Excellence in Audio and Excellence in Design.[2] In 2010, 24 Caret Games got the Audience Choice Award for Retro/Grade at IndieCade.[3]
On June 20, 2009, Matt Gilgenbach from 24 Caret Games announced that Retro/Grade will be released as a downloadable game for PlayStation 3.[4] Retro/Grade is scheduled for release on August 21, 2012.[5]
