The 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup is an international women's cricket tournament to be played in England from 26 June to 23 July 2017. It will be the eleventh edition of the Women's Cricket World Cup, and the third to be held in England (after the 1973 and 1993 tournaments. Eight teams will qualify to participate in the tournament.

Qualification

The 2014–16 ICC Women's Championship, featuring the top eight ranked teams in women's cricket, will double as the first phase of qualifying for the World Cup, with the top four teams from the final Championship table qualifying automatically. The remaining four places will be decided at the World Cup Qualifier, a ten-team event scheduled for early 2017. This will feature the bottom four teams from the Championship table and six other teams.^[1]

Venues

On 8 February 2016, the ICC announced five venues for the 2017 Women's World Cup that is scheduled to played between 26 June and 23 July. Lord's will host the final, and other matches will be played at the home grounds of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Somerset and Gloucestershire.^[2][3]
