2016 World Series of Poker
The 2016 World Series of Poker will be the 47th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP). It will be held from May 31-July 18 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Paradise, Nevada. The series of events will culminate in the $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event, which will begin on July 9.
The $565 Colossus No Limit Hold'em event, which set a new record for largest live poker tournament in 2015, will return to the schedule and begin on June 2. Changes to the event will include a $7 million guaranteed prize pool (an increase of $2 million from 2015), a guaranteed first prize of $1 million, and two additional starting flights.[1]
The full schedule of events will be announced in February.
