2016 United States men's Olympic basketball team
The men's national basketball team of the United States will compete at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

On August 12, 2015, USA Basketball announced the 19 NBA players who are participating for Thursday's 2015 USA Basketball Showcase in Las Vegas, where they will be divided into two squads, USA Blue, and USA White, where USA Blue Team will be coached by USA National Team assistant coach Monty Williams (Oklahoma City Thunder) while USA White Team will be coached by USA National Team assistant coach Tom Thibodeau.[4]
The Blue Team includes Harrison Barnes (Golden State Warriors), Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards), DeMar DeRozan (Toronto Raptors), Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons), Kenneth Faried (Denver Nuggets), Rudy Gay (Sacramento Kings), Amir Johnson (Boston Celtics), Victor Oladipo (Orlando Magic), and Elfrid Payton (Orlando Magic).
The White Team includes Arron Afflalo (New York Knicks), Michael Carter-Williams (Milwaukee Bucks), DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings), Draymond Green (Golden State Warriors), Blake Griffin (Los Angeles Clippers), Terrence Jones (Houston Rockets), Kawhi Leonard (San Antonio Spurs), Mason Plumlee (Portland Trail Blazers), Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors), and C.J. Watson (Orlando Magic).
The head coach is Mike Krzyzewski (Duke University), and the assistant coaches are Jim Boeheim (Syracuse University), Tom Thibodeau, and Monty Williams (Oklahoma City Thunder).
