The 2016 Carolina Panthers season will be the franchise's upcoming 22nd season in the National Football League and the sixth under head coach Ron Rivera. The Panthers will enter the season as the defending NFC (National Football Conference) champions. It will also be the team's 20th season at Bank of America Stadium.

The Panthers traded a conditional sixth-round selection to the Chicago Bears in exchange for defensive end Jared Allen.
