2016 Campeonato Carioca
The 2016 Campeonato Carioca de Futebol will be the 113th edition of the main division of football in Rio de Janeiro. The contest is organized by FERJ. The top four teams will compete in 2016 Copa do Brasil. On 4 August 2015, in meeting the arbitral tribunal, it was decided to form of dispute of this edition, which will be different from previous editions.[1]
