The 2015-16 season is Troon's 69th season of competitive football. Along with the Premier Division, the club will also compete in the Scottish Junior Cup, West of Scotland Cup, Ayrshire Cup & Ayrshire League Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.
The summer of 2015 saw the beginning of a new era, after Jimmy Kirkwood moved sideways due to work pressures and Gordon Burns was appointed Manager.[1]

Kit information
The club is in the third year of wearing products from the German manufacturer Adidas.
- Home (sponsored by Mayfield Garage Services): The new home kit features the traditional colours of blue and black vertical stripes, and it sees a return to black shorts and socks.
- Away (sponsored by BeneFIT): The away kit is the Adidas "Toque 13" style, with Red being the predominant colour of the shirt, shorts and socks.
- Third (sponsored by Paligap): The third kit is the previous seasons' away strip, and is produced by American manufacturer Nike.
- Keeper: The first-choice strip is bright red, whilst the alternatives are blue and green.
