- Week 1 –[6] The conference opened its 52nd season with a record of 4–9. All wins were against non Division I competition. The SLC had the following results against Division I conference members. AAC, 0–2; ACC, 0–1; MAC, 0–1; SEC, 0–2; and WAC, 0–1.
- Week 2 –[7] After week two, the conference out of conference record was 13-29. Twelve of the wins to date were against non Division I competition with one win against Division I.
