The 2015–16 George Mason Patriots men's basketball team represents George Mason University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. It is the 50th season for the program. The Patriots are led by Dave Paulsen in his first season as head coach of the program following Paul Hewitt's dismissal. They play their home games at EagleBank Arena and are members of the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Previous Season

The Patriots finished the season with an overall record of 9–22, with a record of 4–14 in the Atlantic 10 regular season for thirteenth place finish. In the 2015 Atlantic 10 Tournament, the Patriots were defeated by Fordham, 71–65 in the first round.
