The 2015–16 Florida Gators men's basketball team represents the University of Florida in the sport of basketball during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Gators compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and play their home games in the O'Connell Center on the university's Gainesville, Florida campus. After 19 seasons with Billy Donovan as head coach, the Gators begin a new era with first-year head coach Mike White.

Previous season

The Gators finished the season 16–17, 8–10 in SEC play to finish in a tie for eighth place. They advanced to the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament where they lost to Kentucky. They did not participate in a postseason tournament for the first time in 17 years.
