The 2014 Northern Illinois Huskies football team represented Northern Illinois University in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Huskies competed in the West Division of the Mid-American Conference. They were led by second-year head coach Rod Carey. They played their home games at Huskie Stadium. They finished the season 11–3, 7–1 in MAC play to win a share of the MAC West Division Title with Toledo. The Huskies' loss to Central Michigan snapped a 26-game home winning streak dating back to the 2009 season.

Due to their head to head win over Toledo, they represented the West Division in the MAC Championship Game where they defeated Bowling Green to be crowned MAC Champions. They were invited to the Boca Raton Bowl where they lost to Conference USA Champion Marshall.
