The 2013–14 Argentine Primera B Nacional is the 28º season of second division professional of football in Argentina. For this season, the total teams was raised to 22; the champion, runner-up and winner of the tiebreaker playoff will be promoted to Argentine Primera División.

If two or more teams had been tied in point at the end of the tournament, a playoff would have been held at a neutral venue within 72 hours for the championship

Tiebreaker Playoff

Since Huracán and Independiente finished tied in points, a one-match playoff had to be held to determine who promoted to Primera División. The match was played on June 11 at Estadio Único in La Plata.[1] The winner was Independiente by winning 2–0.
