2006 Cork Senior Hurling Championship

The 2006 Cork Senior Hurling Championship was the 120th since its establishment in 1887. The first matches of the season were played on 5 May 2006, and the championship ended on 22 October, 2006. Newtownshandrum went into the 2006 championship as defending champions, having won their third county title the previous year.

The championship culminated with the county final, held at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork. The match was contested by Erin's Own and Cloyne. Erin's Own won the game by 2-19 to 3-14. It was their second county title ever while it was a third successive defeat for Cloyne in the final.[1]
