Awards and records
- On April 3, Jason Richardson scored a team-high 35 points.
- On March 28, Erick Dampier pulled down a team-high 25 rebounds. Dampier's total would be tied with Kevin Garnett's for second-most rebounds pulled down in a single game in the 2003-04 season. Dampier also blocked a team-high 7 shots on January 12.
- On February 11, Speedy Claxton dished out a team-high 13 assists. Claxton would also have a team-high 7 steals that night.
- Speedy Claxton was the NBA season leader in steal percentage.
- Erick Dampier was the NBA season leader in offensive rebounds (344), offensive rebound percentage (16.1%), and total rebound percentage (20.8%). He also placed in other areas: third in total rebounds (887), third in field goal percentage (.535), fourth in rebounds per game (12.0), sixth in effective field goal percentage (.535), and fifth in defensive rebound percentage (25.5%).
- Cliff Robinson was the only player on the team that played (and started) all 82 games of the regular season.
