2000 Terminal, more commonly known as Arlozorov Terminal, is a bus terminal in Tel Aviv, Israel. It is located near the border of Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan, next to Ayalon Highway and the junction of several traffic arteries - Jabotinsky Road that leads to Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak and Petah Tikva, Begin Road that goes to south Tel Aviv, Namir Road to north Tel Aviv and further to Highway 2 and Arlozorov street westward to the sea. Arlozorov Terminal should not be confused with Tel Aviv Central Bus Station.

The Terminal is located next to the Tel Aviv Savidor Central Railway Station. Together they constitute a major transportation hub that plays a major role in both short- and long-distance public transportation in Israel. Planned Tel Aviv Light Rail will also likely eventually have a station in the same area.

Buses of Egged, Dan, Kavim, Metropoline, Connex, Superbus and Nateev Express bus companies stop at the terminal and surrounding streets.

The terminal lies in the open air, unlike the central bus stations in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and some other cities, which are inside large buildings and double as shopping malls.

Plans

There is an effort to create a system of bus priority for certain lines that are heavily used and that run through congested areas. This effort is being led by transportation professionals and environmental groups, such as Transport Today and Tomorrow, which seeks to improve sustainable transportation in Israel. Buses are currently subject to the same traffic as cars and creating specific lanes and other forms of prioritization would help to alleviate this problem.
