2000–01 Golden State Warriors season
The 2000-01 NBA season was the Warriors' 55th season in the NBA and 39th in the San Francisco Bay Area.[1] With new head coach Dave Cowens, the Warriors struggles continued as they finished last place in the Pacific Division with a terrible 17-65 record, as Larry Hughes failed to live up to expectations. Antawn Jamison led the team in scoring with 24.9 points per game. Chris Mullin made his second stint with the Warriors before retiring.
