The 1999 season of the Samoa National League, was the tenth reported season of top flight association football competition in Samoa, with results between 1986 and 1996 unknown.[1] Moata'a won the championship playoff, known as the "Championship of Champions", their first title.[2]
Overview
A qualifying tournament was held, split into two groups, north and south, from which the top four teams qualified for the Championship of Champions, a single round robin series of matches to determine the overall champion.[2] Two points were awarded for a win and one for a draw.[2] The following teams qualified for the final round:
Group North
- Vaitoloa – winners of group north
- Moamoa – runners up in group north
- Vaiala
- Kiwi
Group South
- Moata'a – winners of group south
- Goldstar Sogi – runners up in group south
- Togafuafua
- Vaipuna
