12BET, founded in 2007, is a sports betting and online casino provider licensed by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission.[1]

Sponsorship

In 2009, it became the official betting and gaming partner of Newcastle United.[2] Also in the same year, it inked a two-year shirt sponsorship deal for Sevilla.[3]

During the 2011-2012 season, 12BET became Wigan Athletic’s sponsor. The deal lasted for two years.[4]

In 2013, the company became the first stadium sponsor and official betting partner of the newly promoted Crystal Palace.[5]

A year after partnering with Crystal Palace, 12BET sealed a one-time sponsorship agreement with Coventry in January 2014.[6] Also in the same year, it was the official shirt sponsor of Hull City Tigers. The collaboration between the two lasted for two (2) years.[7]

In 2015, 12BET established ties with Swansea as their official betting partner.[8]

12BET also sponsored tournaments such as the World Open professional ranking snooker tournament[9] and UK Championship.

Controversy

Shortly after signing a stadium sponsorship deal with Crystal Palace, talks about renaming Selhurst Park to 12BET Stadium spread and ignited different reactions from its supporters. However, Crystal Palace’s management appeased its fans that the stadium’s name will not be changed.[10]
