Şoimii Pâncota is a Romanian professional football club from Pâncota, Arad County, Romania, founded in 1932. Home matches are played at Stadionul Șoimii.
History
Early Years
The first document dates from 1923, by this time called the Spartak club Pancota. Team play in a landscaped garden on the site of the markets and the colors were green and white. The team played in the Western League with similar teams from Șiria, Lipova, Salonta, Arad, etc. Representative members of the batch at the time were: Beszeny, Vagalau, Cornel Vuia, Schmidth, Chebeleu, Hipp, Pohaner, Badovics, Ardelean. In 1938, at the initiative Vuia players, Stark, Hipp, Chebeleu, Coroban, Filo and Păcurar, the club changed its name from Spartak Pancota the Falcons Pancota. After the Second World War, the team played on the current stadium, named for the club. Sports Year 1967-68 was for CS Falcons Pancota year winning the district championship for the first time in its history. In 1982, the group of children: Boros, Caşcostan, Hat, Lacatus, Lazea Goşa, Pancan, Covaci I Covaci II, Olari, having as coach Simon Buda became county champion. The same performance was repeated in 1998.
Top leagues
In the 2011-2012 season of Liga IV-Arad County they finished first and promoted to Liga III. In the same year they won the Arad County Faze of Romanian Cup. At the end of 2013–14 Liga III, they finished 1st promoting for the first time ever in Liga II. They finished on the 9th place on the table.
