Śabara
Śabara (also Śabara-svāmin) is a commentator on Jaimini's Purva Mimamsa Sutras, the śābara-bhāṣyam, in turn commented upon by Kumarila Bhatta.
He dates to the early centuries CE, later than Patanjali's Mahabhashya, and earlier than Vatsyayana.
