Łukasz Krupiński
Łukasz Krupiński listen (born June 5, 1992 in Warsaw) – Polish pianist, winner of many piano contests in Poland and abroad.
Biography
He started to take piano lessons in his age of five. He attended and finished the Zenon Brzewski music school[1] in Warsaw under professor Joanna Ławrynowicz.[2]
He continued his education at Fryderyk Chopin University of Music under Alicja Paleta-Bugaj[3] and Dr Konrad Skolarski.[4]
As a participant in the XVII International Chopin Piano Competition (2015), he performed in the semifinals.
Krupiński gives concerts in many Polish cities as well as in Germany, Belgium, Norway, Spain, Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, China and Australia.
Awards and competitions
- 1st Prize on the International Stanisław Moniuszko Slavonic Music Competitions in Minsk (Belarus) (2011)[5][6]
- 3rd Prize on the 44th Polish Chopin-Competitions in Warsaw (2012)[7]
- Grand Prix on the 2nd Siberian International Chopin Piano Contest in Tomsk (Russia) (2013)[8]
- Extra prize for the best performance of Frédéric Chopin works on the same competition
- Extra prize for the best performance of Alexander Scriabin works on the same competition
- Prize of the „Pro Polonia“-Foundation (2013 and 2014)[9]
- Prize of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for outstanding performances on the field of the artistic creativeness (2013 and 2014)
- Scholarship of the 2014 Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe piano competition
- 2nd Prize on the 47th Polish Chopin-Competitions in Warsaw (2015) and right to participate in the XVII International Chopin Piano Competition Warsaw 2015.[10][11]
- 1st Prize on the 15th International Piano Competitions of the Chopin Society in Hannover.[12]
