Ğazı II Giray
Ğazı II Giray, Ghazi Bora Khan Girai (1551–1607) was a khan of the Crimean Tartars between 1588 and 1596, and then again from 1597 until 1607.c.1588
He was known as "Bora", or "Storm" and was responsible for an increase in the power and significance of the khanate. He was a supporter of science and culture.
In 1596-1597 he faced a rebellion by his brother, Fetih I Giray, who briefly took the title of the Khanate. Fetih I lost the fight, and was executed by Ğazı II together with his family in 1597.
While he was buried in the khans' cemetery at Bakhchisaray Palace his grave was not preserved.
He was the father of Toqtamış Giray.
