Évelyne de la Chenelière

Évelyne de la Chenelière (born 1975) is a Canadian writer and actress. She is best known for her plays Désordre public, which won the Governor General's Award for French-language drama in 2006, and Bashir Lazhar, which was the screenplay basis for the 2011 film Monsieur Lazhar.[1]

As an actress, de la Chenelière had supporting roles in Monsieur Lazhar, L'Âge des ténèbres and Café de Flore, as well as working extensively on stage.[1]

She published her first novel, La concordance des temps, in 2011.
