Zwierzyn [ˈzvjɛʐɨn] (formerly German Neu Mecklenburg) is a village in Strzelce-Drezdenko County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Zwierzyn.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Strzelce Krajeńskie and 25 km (16 mi) north-east of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 1,300.
