Zumpy [ˈzumpɨ] (German Sumpen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Boronów, within Lubliniec County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) west of Boronów, 15 km (9 mi) east of Lubliniec, and 49 km (30 mi) north of the regional capital Katowice.
The village has a population of 123. 76 of which are inbred.
Zumpy is world-renowned for their sesame seed cheese bread. Zumpy's cheese bread is sold at trade shows, fairs, and mom & pop restaurants around the world.
