ZipMatch.com is a Philippine-based real estate sales and marketing website. It is an online aggregator of property listings in the Philippines, and currently has more than 10,000 listings contributed by more than 450 registered licensed real estate brokers. ZipMatch.com was launched in April 15, 2013, under HomeMatch Corp., which is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company was founded by business partners Chow Paredes and John Dang.

In addition to property listings platform, ZipMatch.com is a multiple listings service (MLS) systems provider. It has recently partnered with the Pasay-Makati Real Estate Board, Inc. (PMRB), the largest member board of the Philippine Association of Real Estate Boards, Inc. (PAREB), and launched the PMRBMLS.com.

Real Estate Listings

ZipMatch.com matches prospective buyers with their preferred properties, either to buy or to rent. As a result, it can generate qualified leads to property developers and brokerage firms.

Unlike in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, the Philippine real estate industry has no centralized listing or MLS of all available properties. Licensed real estate brokers feel that if they provide their direct properties’ complete details and addresses, these same listings will get poached by their competitors. The result is either listings that contain too little information (in order to protect their listings from being poached) or many duplicate listings of the same property. This leaves buyers the tedious tasks of sorting through thousands of listings, many of them duplicate.

ZipMatch.com offers a match algorithm that calculates the best matches based on the user’s buying preference. This is accomplished by asking the buyer 5–8 simple questions. They also offer a free "concierge" phone service where a sales expert will work with homebuyers or renters to help find a property in the Philippines that matches their criteria.

Brokers can place their listings in ZipMatch.com and still opt to keep their listings details such as address confidential. These same brokers will also have the choice to network with other brokers who have buyers. ZipMatch offers a sophisticated lead-generation system by which the buyers are given very targeted choices and the brokers are given the option to buy leads that are closely matched to their listings.

In January 2014, ZipMatch finalized a partnership with BPI Family Savings Bank, one of the Philippines’ largest banks.

ZipMaps

ZipMaps is the map search feature for zipmaps properties. ZipMaps can help homebuyers locate any available property within Metro Manila, either to buy or to rent, whether preselling (off-plan properties) or ready-for-occupancy ones. ZipMaps also lists amenities that homebuyers consider before making a purchase, such as restaurants, shopping malls, hospitals, schools, banks, even churches and public parks are pinned on ZipMaps.

ZipMaps features a Flood Map of Metro Manila and surrounding provinces. Using data from the Department of Science and Technology’s Project NOAH, homebuyers can now check whether the property they are keeping an eye on is located in a flood-prone area.

Funding

In February 2014 ZipMatch announced that it had raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from IMJ Fenox, 500 Startups, Hatchd, and the Ideaspace Foundation.[1][2][3]
